My house you built (2026)
1 channel film, Black and white, sound, 45min.

Through this film, I wanted to look closely at how we become accustomed to a space. The room I stay in does not immediately feel like home. It becomes familiar through small, repeated actions — moving things around, coming and going, waiting, or simply spending time there. Slowly, the space becomes part of everyday life.

The film loosely follows two people: a woman moving between indoor and outdoor spaces, and a man staying temporarily in a hotel room. Neither of them seems to fully belong to the places they occupy. As they move through them, small traces are left behind. I was interested in these brief moments, and in the feeling that they can disappear almost as soon as they appear.

The film stays with ordinary movements and the time between them. Sounds from outside — neighbours, passing cars, plumbing, machinery, footsteps — constantly find their way into these spaces. Little by little, the two begin to find their own ways of living there.
