I was drawn to the slight awkwardness between these actions — letting something fall and picking it up, pushing something away and pulling it back, the weight of an object against the effort of the body. Through this repeated exchange, the relationship between the body, the object, and gravity begins to feel slightly unnatural. The film simply stays with that tension and lets it repeat.
