The video unfolds as an awkward conversation with a man. It begins with a loosely written script, but the man is unaware that a script exists. An uneasy tension emerges as he takes part in a conversation whose direction is known only to the person asking the questions.

Could an interview itself be a small piece of theatre, guided by the interviewer’s subtle control? One person prepares the questions and the script, while the other answers without knowing what story they are becoming part of. Seated in a situation already arranged for him, the man takes the questions as they come. The conversation is both playful and uncomfortable.영상은 한 남자와 나누는 어색한 대화로 이루어진다. 대화는 느슨하게 짜인 대본에서 출발하지만, 남자는 그 대본의 존재를 알지 못한다. 질문하는 사람만이 알고 있는 대화의 흐름 속에서 어색한 긴장감이 생겨난다.

인터뷰란 인터뷰어의 섬세한 통제 아래 진행되는 작은 연극은 아닐까. 한쪽에서만 준비한 질문과 대본을 바탕으로, 다른 한쪽은 자신이 어떤 이야기에 참여하고 있는지 모른 채 대답을 이어간다. 남자는 이미 마련된 상황에 앉아, 자신에게 건네지는 질문들을 받아들인다. 그렇게 대화는 장난스럽고도 불편하게 흘러간다.
